After having delicious dinner at Relish (Churchgate) while
walking down the streets with friends towards Churchgate
station, we came across this new Ice-cream parlour in the
city. Yes it’s PAPACREAM, the most talked about Ice-cream
parlour these days.
LocationChurchgate › 18, Cambatta Building, J.T Road, Churchgate,
Mumbai.
It’s famous not just because of the ice-creams it serves, but it
has a few signature dishes which will trigger the palate of
every Mumbaikar.
Talking about the ambience, it is brightly lit and the white
walls add to the brilliance, adding a welcoming charm. The
parlour provides seating for 30 people across its two floors.
The menu is just too tempting and interesting. Few unique
signature options included the
1. Mexicano (spiced nachos with cheddar, bell peppers and
jalapeno ice cream) and
2. Paani puri sorbet ( Tart shells with potato mousse and
served with a pani sorbet),
3. The Thai sushi ice cream (A chocolate Crepe Roll infused
with coconut lemon grass ice cream with kiwi and
passion fruit jelly) &
4. Jumbo Doughwich ( Doughnut layered with Belgian
chocolate Ice cream).
We opted for Pani puri sorbet because I was just too excited
to have it in form of nitrogen ice-cream. The ice cream in the
cup has a spicy and tangy taste of pani of pani puri. It’s just
one of its forms and when it goes down the throat you can
feel the ‘nothing-better-than-this’ experience. Try it.
Pani puri sorbet- Rs. 160
Up next, we had was Ferrero crunchy which requires no
description. Chocoholics, this will definitely work its magic on
your taste buds.
Ferrero crunchy- Rs 300
PAPACREAM has taken simple ice creams to a whole new
level. Visit the place for a unique variety, if you are in a mood
to splurge on your sweet tooth. Calories can be damned!
